Terms of Service
Last updated: May 19, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UI Parity ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.
2. Description of Service
UI Parity is an AI-powered Storybook addon and dashboard that helps development teams compare React component implementations against Figma designs. The Service detects visual discrepancies, classifies severity, calculates compliance scores, and generates suggested fixes.
Audit results are provided for informational purposes only and may not identify all issues. Results may include false positives or false negatives. They should be reviewed by a qualified developer before acting on them.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@uiparity.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Billing and Payment
UI Parity offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on the agreed billing cycle.
- Prices are listed in USD and exclude applicable taxes.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Credits purchased in packs are non-refundable once used.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Unused credits and subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
- Abuse the API or automated systems in ways that degrade service for others.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, designs, and AI models — are owned by UI Parity and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your Figma designs, component code, and any data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.
8. AI Usage
The Service uses Claude (Anthropic) for AI-powered analysis. Your component screenshots and Figma frames are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UI Parity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim or $100.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that results will be accurate.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a security risk. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before deletion unless required otherwise by law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
